The short version
We don't sell your data. We don't share it with advertisers. We collect what we need to run your service and deliver your leads — that's it. You can ask us to delete everything anytime.
What we collect
From you directly: your name, business details, billing info, and the configuration for whichever VARNET service you're using.
When our AI answers calls on your behalf: audio, transcripts, caller IDs, and whatever callers choose to share with us.
From the website: basic analytics like which pages you visit, your browser type, and approximate location from your IP.
What we do with it
We use it to run your service, support you, and improve the product. When we use data to improve our AI, we de-identify it first whenever we can.
We don't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or build profiles for anyone else's purposes.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we have, fix anything wrong, delete it all, or stop using it for marketing. Email info@varnet.online with "Privacy request" in the subject. We respond within 30 days.
Call recording
Our AI announces at the start of every call that the call may be recorded. If a caller doesn't want that, they can hang up.
As the business using VARNET, you're responsible for making sure recording is allowed where your callers live. A handful of states require all parties to consent.
If you're in California
You have rights under the CCPA — to know what we've collected, correct it, delete it, and opt out of sale or sharing. We don't sell or share data for advertising, so most of that doesn't really apply. Email us anytime.
If you're in the EU, UK, or Switzerland
You have rights under the GDPR. We process your data based on the contract to deliver our service, our legitimate interests in security and improvement, and your consent for marketing. You can lodge complaints with your local data protection authority.
How long we keep things
Account info as long as you have an account. Call recordings up to 12 months by default. Analytics up to 24 months. Anything you ask us to delete: gone.
Who else sees it
The service providers we use to run things — Cloudflare for hosting, Stripe for payments, our telephony and AI providers. Each one is contractually required to protect your data the way we do.
Kids
VARNET isn't built for children under 16, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we update this in a meaningful way, we'll email you or notify you in the product before it takes effect.
